SSRS Tip

When building reports in SSRS I typically find myself modifying expressions in and when having long expressions I sometimes need to evaluate/validate parts of the expressions.

In that case I use the ability to comment elements out in the expression by using the ‘ in the expression.

Then I can copy, cut and paste parts of the expression in order to evaluate each part of the expression.

Remember to use start brackets wisely.
