Let your pivottable speak spanish

After using the feature in SQL Server Analysis Services to translate the captions of different attributes…

I still saw the English names in my Excel 2010 pivot table field list.

So I tried to change the regional settings in the control panel, my location, my dateformat and also the default language in Microsoft Office … without any luck L

Finally found the solution … I simply changed the connection string to the cube and specified an Extended property in the connection string to the OLAP Cube..

And voila after a refresh… the pivot table field list now retrieves the Spanish translation…
